"I called with an issue with my renters insurance. The new apartment that I moved into requires me to have renters insurance. I was on a dead line and I called very last minute. Lorie assisted me. She did it right away while I was still on the phone. Ive been with this branch for multiple years now. The kindness and quality of the employees are top tier. "Lorie helped me lower my car insurance , as well as gave me lots of options for life insurance, or ways to help keep my car insurance low. "My teenage son and I went to the Nanette Holloway State Farm agency specifically to obtain car insurance only for a vehicle he had just purchased. While there, the insurance representative, Sheba, added additional work related coverages that we did not originally intend to keep. Almost two weeks later, we received a follow up call. During that call, I clearly explained that we needed to cancel the policy because the seller sold my son the car without a title, which made it impossible to register or legally drive. I also stated that resolving the title issue would require legal involvement, which we were not willing to pursue. Unfortunately, my son, trying to be responsible, made another insurance payment without informing me even though the car still could not be registered or driven. We immediately contacted the agency again and requested a refund, explaining once more that the vehicle could not be used at all. We were told the issue would be escalated. Over a week later, we were informed that they would only go back one month and that the refund would apply only to the additional coverages, not the auto insurance we initially went in for. When I reminded Sheba that I clearly stated during the earlier call that the policy needed to be canceled due to the car’s legal status, she instead placed the blame back on us and said they were waiting for confirmation, even though that confirmation was given during that conversation. As a result, State Farm collected over $500 from a teenage customer for a car that was never driven and could not legally be registered. This experience was extremely disappointing and felt dismissive and unfair. I had high hopes for this company, but instead this situation has led me to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau."

Please contact our agency manager at your earliest convenience at 864-845-3411. We value your trust and hope to restore your confidence in our agency.
